An Association of Pennsylvania Not-for-profit Senior Services, LeadingAge PA has been serving not-for-profit senior service providers as the primary source for advocacy, networking, news and education since 1963. Our membership, comprised of more than 350 not-for-profit nursing homes, continuing care retirement communities, senior housing facilities, assisted living residences, and community service providers, serves more than 62,000 persons in facility-based settings and tens of thousands more in their own homes or other community settings.
Dedicated to helping our members advance the vision of healthy, affordable, ethical aging services for Pennsylvanians, our joint hallmark lies in promoting a not-for-profit philosophy, placing the needs of the individual and families served above all else.
LeadingAge PA exclusively represents the interests of the not-for-profit sector of long term care, ensuring that our members' voice is heard through the efforts of our Public Policy initiatives. LeadingAge PA actively monitors legislation and regulations and insures that elected and appointed officials are aware of the positions of not-for-profit facilities and agencies for the aging.
