the benefits of membership with PANPHA:
- PANPHA is the only state
association that exclusively represents the interests of the
nonprofit sector of long term care. Your voice is heard through
the efforts of our Public Policy initiatives. PANPHA actively
monitors legislation and regulations and insures that elected
and appointed officials are aware of the positions of nonprofit
facilities and agencies for the aging.
- Knowledge Central, our "Member's Only" website,
and InfoAssist, our extensive search database, offer a wealth
of information to help you keep track of the ever changing health
care scene and keep you up-to-date.
- Education is a constant and
ever changing need. PANPHA and PANPHA individual Chapters offer
long term care providers and staff access to multiple seminars,
meetings, conferences and roundtables on a variety of topics.

PANPHA
MEMBERSHIP TYPES...
- VOTING MEMBERS
Voting Members are nonprofit, voluntary or governmental facilities
providing care, services or housing for the aging (nursing homes,
personal care homes, CCRCs, housing facilities and community
services). PANPHA's prime membership is comprised of Voting Members.
Voting Members receive all PANPHA mailings, access to PANPHA's
"Member's Only" website, Knowledge Central,
and member rates at all PANPHA seminars and conferences. Voting
Members are eligible to vote and to serve on PANPHA committees,
task forces and on the Board of Directors. Voting members in
PANPHA are also members of the American Association of Homes
and Services for the Aging (AAHSA), our national affiliate.
- PARENT AGENCIES
Parent Agencies are organizations that own, sponsor, operate
or manage two or more PANPHA Voting Members. Parent Agencies
receive all PANPHA mailings, access to PANPHA's "Member's
Only" website, Knowledge Central, and member rates at all
PANPHA seminars and conferences. They may serve on PANPHA committees,
task forces and the Board of Directors. They may vote as a proxy
for their facilities that are PANPHA Voting Members. There are
no annual membership dues for Parent Agencies.
- ASSOCIATE MEMBERS
Associate Members are individuals who are associated with a nonprofit
or voluntary organization that is not eligible for PANPHA voting
membership. Associate Members receive all PANPHA mailings, access
to PANPHA's "Member's Only" web site, Knowledge Central,
and member rates at all PANPHA seminars and conferences. They
may serve on PANPHA committees or task forces; however, they
are not eligible to serve on the Board of Directors. Annual membership
dues: $250.00.
- AFFILIATE MEMBERS
Affiliate Members are for-profit facilities providing care, services
or housing for the aging. Affiliate Members are not eligible
to vote or serve on PANPHA's Board of Directors, committees or
task forces. Affiliate Members receive all PANPHA mailings, access
to PANPHA's "Member's Only" web site, Knowledge Central,
and member rates to all PANPHA seminars and conferences. Annual
membership dues: $1,200.00. Download

- BUSINESS MEMBERS
Business Members are commercial and professional organizations
that offer services and/or supplies to organizations eligible
for PANPHA Voting Membership. Business Members receive all PANPHA
mailings, access to PANPHA's "Member's Only" website,
Knowledge Central, and member rates to all PANPHA seminars and
conferences. Business Members may serve on PANPHA committees
and task forces; however, are not eligible for PANPHA Voting
Membership or eligible to vote or to serve on PANPHA's Board
of Directors. Companies/organizations owning, operating or managing
organizations/facilities which are eligible for PANPHA Voting
Membership or as a PANPHA Affiliate, but do not belong to PANPHA,
are not eligible to be a Business Member. Annual membership dues:

- RETIREE MEMBERS
Retiree Members are individuals, age 62 or older, who are retired
from a PANPHA Voting Member and are no longer employed in any
capacity by an organization providing the same or similar services
as Voting Members. Retiree Members receive all PANPHA mailings,
access to PANPHA's "Member's Only" website, Knowledge
Central, and member rates at all PANPHA seminars and conferences.
Retirees are not eligible to vote or serve on the Board of Directors,
committees or task forces. Annual membership dues: $25.00. Download application...
- STUDENT MEMBERS
Student Members are individuals enrolled in a full-time health
care curriculum at an institution of higher learning and/or serving
an internship with a PANPHA Voting Member. Student Members receive
all PANPHA mailings, access to PANPHA's "Member's Only"
website, Knowledge Central, and member rates at all PANPHA seminars
and conferences. Student Members are not eligible to vote or
serve on the Board of Directors, committees, or task forces.
