Through advocacy, networking, and knowledge, we provide members with the tools they need to promote an atmosphere of fellowship and caring; to promote best operational practices; to meet the social, physical and spiritual needs of individuals served; and to help older persons achieve the dignity and quality of life they deserve in their retirement years. An Association of Pennsylvania Nonprofit Senior Services, PANPHA has been serving nonprofit senior service providers as the primary source for advocacy, networking, news and education since 1963.
Our membership, comprised of over 350 nonprofit nursing homes, continuing care retirement communities, senior housing facilities, assisted living residences, and community service providers, serves more than 62,000 persons in facility-based settings and tens of thousands more in their own homes or other community settings.
Dedicated to helping our members advance the vision of healthy, affordable, ethical aging services for Pennsylvanians, our joint hallmark lies in promoting the philosophy of nonprofitism, placing the needs of the individual and families served above all else.
