“Where people call home” will continue to be the mantra of the senior housing profession giving consumers a myriad of housing options and living arrangements as they age. Baby boomers will be looking for a wide range of services that can be brought to them no matter what their health condition and where they live. Senior living communities will need to be flexible, innovative and accommodating to its customers as the definition of “community” continues to evolve. One of the top three planning initiatives during the next five years among PANHPA members is to offer service enhanced supportive housing.
